hi, i'm ama
A self-taught digital portrait and wedding photographer from London and I would love to capture your wedding day!
Since 2018, I have been nurturing my passion for photography and honing in on what I love documenting. I have a BA in Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics from the University of Cambridge, as well as a Masters in Law. Over the years I have harnessed my love of photography. One of the reasons I started taking photos was to capture moments and memories that should be eternal. Photos outlive us and I believe that’s all the more reason to make sure the most important memories are captured the way we want them to be.
Having wanted to venture into weddings for a while, I got the opportunity in 2024 for a friend’s ceremony in Italy. It was a beautiful celebration and I learnt more about how I would photograph future weddings to encapsulate the joy, love and intimacy of such a milestone. I have since documented numerous ceremonies in all their colours, quirks and details.
the poetry is in the detail.

Marriage is meant to be a symbol of commitment, love and understanding; weddings should reflect that. Thus, those small details that are unique to you, that are understood by you and that reveal themselves on such a day, are just as important to me.
As your photographer, my aim is to not only get those non-negotiable shots — the first look, first kiss, the photo with that one auntie for her WhatsApp status, the portrait — but also the moments that may go unnoticed by everyone else and the small details you incorporate into the day.
Sometimes it's the gentlest details in lingering and fleeting moments that capture the mood of the wedding day. From the attentiveness of a groom to a bride as he carefully calms her, to the arrangements and design of the dinner table, I want to be there to capture it, to capture your love just the way it is.
Weddings by me
With weddings, my goal is to photograph your celebration through an intimate, documentary photography style. My work is timeless, authentic and heartwarming. My portfolio also includes a number of Nikkah ceremonies (most at Cambridge Central Mosque). I am incredibly respectful of the space, the significance of the wedding and I have a good idea of how celebrations tend to go. If this sounds like what you want for your day, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
I do small, religious and larger weddings alike — whatever your plan, let me capture moments that will take on lives of their own, long after they have passed.
what to expect
before
When you get in touch, I offer a free video consultation to discuss more about your day, your plans and what your photography needs are. Calls are great for getting to know each other, seeing if we are a good fit to work together and whether I can meet your expectations. Your wedding is really important and having someone who understands that and what you want from it, is even more so. Additionally, whilst a pricing guide is on my site, every event needs something different, so calls allow me to come back to you with a rate better suited from what you share with me. If you are happy after the call, I will go ahead to confirm the booking upon return of contract and deposit.
during
On the day, I will arrive just before the agreed time to meet you and run through the schedule one last time. It will also be an opportunity for me to scope out the venue etc. As your photographer, I won’t just be taking photos — I will be helping make sure things go smoothly, organising portraits and ensuring people are in the right place at the right time if I have to. If disaster, small or large, strikes I will do whaetver I can to help and relieve stress.
after
Afterwards, I will keep in touch as I prepare your final gallery. Previews are sent within 1-2 weeks so you have some photos to cherish in between and also let me know if you are happy with the editing. Once your gallery is ready, it will be delivered to you via email for you to review and reminisce the day all over again!
